About This Course

Our Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program is designed to equip aspiring teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to become effective educators. The B.Ed course duration is two years, and we offer a comprehensive curriculum that covers a range of topics such as pedagogy, educational psychology, and classroom management. Eligibility for Admission

A candidate who has passed two years pre-university examination conducted by the pre-university education board in the state of Karnataka  or 10+2 by CBSE or any other examination considered as equivalent there to shall be eligible for admission to this program.      

Program Outcome

Upon completion of the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program at SJES College of Education, graduates will be able to:

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices of teaching and learning across a range of subject areas.
  • Design and deliver effective and engaging lessons that are aligned with curricular standards and promote student learning and achievement.
  • Utilize a variety of assessment strategies to evaluate student learning and provide constructive feedback to support student growth and development.
  • Develop and implement instructional plans and activities that address the diverse learning needs of students, including those with disabilities and special needs.
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment that fosters positive relationships, respect for diversity, and cultural awareness.
  • Use technology effectively to support teaching and learning, including integrating digital resources and tools into instructional activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to promote student success and well-being.
  • Demonstrate reflective practice and engage in ongoing professional development to continually improve their teaching practice.
